In 1996, Salumificio Pedrazzoli obtained certification as a controlled organic farm by the Consortium for the Control of Organic Products in Bologna. In 2007 it was given the authorization by the North East Institute of Quality for the production of Salamini Italiani alla Cacciatora PDO. The company’s particular focus on the processing of products and the need to respond promptly to market demands have led Salumificio Pedrazzoli to create products – in both the traditional and organic lines – for celiac and this means the company is now listed in the Italian Celiac Formulary.
Awards obtained in the sector: in 1996, Salumificio Pedrazzoli obtained the certification as a controlled organic company by the Consortium for the Control of Organic Products located in Bologna, certification body recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests.
In 1998, during the German trade fair
Biofach, Salumificio Pedrazzoli won the award dedicated to quality and innovation for its organic cured Parma ham.
In 2010 Elisa Pedrazzoli received the Young Entrepreneurs’ Award, which is presented to company owners or managers under 40 years of age, at that year’s “Premio Impresa Ambiente” (Environmental Business Award) thanks to her managerial and entrepreneurial skills, her dedication and , above all, her precise focus on research and innovation targeting eco-friendly company development.
